Well its here, Seungmena sugested i do a journal for the challange that ive set myself.
For those that dont know im going to try to go from my current state of 224lbs to qualifying for the 2005 britain.
Its going to be very hard but hey its not like ive got anything better to do
Ive trained before so i know what im capable of and i would even think of attempting this if i diidnt thnik i could pull it off. I will try to update this journal every fortnight but hey im a busy guy
Any way here we go, Im going to plan things in 3 month blocks the first is here.
Months 1-3 starting 03/11/2003
The plan for this block is to Shed the 2 stone that ive put on since i last trained, and set myself up for a bulk up in the new year. Im starting in november becasue christmas is comming up and i dont want to be starting a new routine in january when all the 1 month wonders turn up in the gym.
Iam going to start my diet with 3000cals and go from there. The cardio in the first few weeks will be your average 30mins 3 times per week. I love to do HIT cardio but i will have to ease myself in to this, i might not even start HIT in this block i see how things go.
My weight trianing routine will be posted over the weekend but this will just be somthing to get me ready for doing Max OT training in the next block.
Heres the diet i will start with (time are aproximate)
6am. 30g whey in water
6-30 (breakfast) 5 eggs 1 yolk, 2 Weetabix with skim milk,
9am Tuna/chicken with pasta (wholewheet of course)
11.15am (pre workout) Shake made of 20g whey, 40g carbs (20g malti, 20g dext)
Mixed with 1 litre of water. Drink half and drink other half
12.15 (post workout) 40g protien 60g carbs in water
1pm Chicken/turkey/tuna sandwhich with salad
4pm (MRP) with olive oil
7pm Chicken/beef with mixed veg
B4 bed 30g whey mixed with skim milk+ nat pennut butter
I try to add veg with every food meal but i dont really like it,
I also need some fat in there, i will b using fish oil caps and some
ALA if i have some cash, aswell as chewing some nuts
Only other supps im using multi-vit and vit-c
Thats about it will post my routine this weekend, and update in 2 weeks. If any of you guys see me slipping then Beast me for it,I Dont Train For 2nd Place
