My pleasure. The good thing is not many people buy something like that and plants can last for a long time. I would go for a peace lilly (easy to keep) or maybe a Yucca (I have a yucca that I've had for 23 years)

I always by some sort of time piece... A chime clock for the wall usually or a a nice clock for the mantle.

A crystal vase or serving dish might be nice too if they like to entertain.

LOL, Kitty. I have a hard time with keeping plants alive indoors. Outdoor plants thrive.
My yard is full of trees I planted from seeds.

Saw some nice man/woman arty type lovers statuette things in John Lewis the other day for not a bad price that would make an excellent wedding gift.

Scrap the scratch cards/lottery. My in-laws were given these as an anniversary present and they were greatly insulted

I gave an ice cream maker to my mate - and we havent spoken since - dont do that.
Mate if you can do a nice card and something you know they will like then thats the way to go,
Mrs BL did a wedding album for our friends by getting pictures off those who were there - thats was a small secret one. - we got truffles for lot who got hitched we knew.
A friend of ours got us a sandwich maker - genius.
Cant go wrong witha fondue set as every married couple has to recieve one of these!!!
(you can get minature ones if you want to enhance the humour aspect)
