    the question is quite vauge. . .
     
    do you mean what can you do instead of them to train your shoulders? if so; military press, dumbell press, cable laterals, behind the neck press, shoulder press machines. . .

    Sorry it was a bit vague. I want to target the same muscle area bit with different excersise. I thought side raises do sides of shoulder front raise did front of shoulder and military press did top.

    military press is a good all over shoulder exercise. in my experience the best thing to add size to the whole shoulder complex would be any heavy pressing movement such as DB press or military press, use front or side raises to isolate a particular head if need be.

    The delt has 3 heads front,side,rear or also known as anterior,medial,posterior heads.

    So no 'top'.

    Over head pressing mainly works the font and side to a lesser extent.

    The most common shoulder exercises used to get all 3 heads would be:

    Shoulder press
    Lateral raise
    Reverse flys (bent over laterals)

    All these exercises have different variations of them to help stop your training getting stale.

    Stick to compound exercises for your shoulders and you'll hit all three heads in proportion to their strengths.
