    non fixed term

ehm.....to hazard a guess, non fixed interest rate as opposed to fixed interest rate.

    other than that, not sure.
non fixed term as in time sounds a bit like signing a blank cheque tbh.

    Beat me to it Righty.

What was the statistical probability of that occuring given that I am wearing panties today and there was a solar eclipse in Asia last week?

Well the panties-wearing had a probability of 1 anyway  but is not essential to deriving the answer of likelihood of quickest.

A fixed term contract is one which says it lasts for, say, only 6 months - a fixed period of time.  When the 6 months are up the employment ceases.

A non fixed term contract is one which continues indefinitely and is what the vast majority of people are employed on - you continue working with them until you give notice to quit, are made redundant, or are sacked.

The hours of work are different and in this case the contract would usually describe that along the lines of "9 am to 5 pm Mondays to Fridays during term times only".  If it's term time only hours, it would be worth checking to see if the wages are spread throughout the year or are only paid during term times.

What you've described is basically casual employment without any fixed hours - being told "please come into work today".  That can be for a fixed or a non fixed period.

Does she know you've been in her undergarments drawer again, Dan...? There's going to come a point when we're going to have to become rather concerned about you...
