what is quark? is it a cheese?

Hi a srawny 18 year old  5'8 and 9.4 stone im planning on starting this bulk below

7.00 am
3 weetabix with milk
piece of fruit
30g whey shake

9:15am 100g weight gainer (boditronics mass attack) with 1 pint of skim milk (get from your local shop or keep it in your rucksack, it'll be fine for a few hours)
piece of fruit
handful mixed nuts

12pm 2 wholemeal pittas with tuna, sweetcorn, little bit of salad
chocolate bar of your choice (50g or under)

3.30 50g cous cous rehydrated with chicken stock
handful of raisins thrown into the cous cous
1 tablespoon Olive oil in the cous cous
125g sliced chicken with spices

6.15 dinner, whatever is made

Pre bed 1 wholemeal pitta sliced and toasted in the oven (crisp substitute) served with a tub of quark with a sachet of Cadburys Options stirred in. Try using the pitta chips to scoop up the flavored quark, its rather nice.
am i correct in thinking Quark is a cheese? is it similar to cottage cheese?

hows does the diet look ok
?
Joe

It is a type of cheese but its quite different to cottage cheese, its more of a moose sort of texture worth grabbing a tub and giving it a try as its cheap

The protein in Quark is ~80% casein which is generally considered slow release, so the answer is yes MDM.

Ahem, from the link I provided earlier in the thread

"Quark consists of 60% to 80% water. Dry mass has 1% to 40% fat; most of the rest is protein (80% of which is casein), calcium, and phosphate."

So it's a fact in as much as thats what Wikipedia says.....
