Mike Tyson in his prime putting the absolute fear of God into Michael Spinks. 90 seconds of the most ruthless fisishing I ever seen. Remember, Spinks was lined up to take Tysons throne and was seen as too classy for Tyson. In terms of awesome agression and finishing someone off, I have never seen anything like it before or since.

No wonder his legs turned to jelly.

Isn't it a shame that the last great great Heavyweight will never be remembered as the Tyson in his prime. Danny Williams better than Tyson - HaHa! I'd like to have seen Danny step into the ring back when Tyson was in his early 20's.

    Castillo vs Callazo

All action with an amazing end! Im raking my brain trying to think of some, there's been a few stormers in that division in recent times.

UFC has to be the final of the ultimate fighter 2 Forrest Griffin against eehh little halp whats was that guy's name again.

but tyson was a rapist, and so, IMO, scum of the earth.i know he was an amazing fighter, but, IMO, any of his previous atchieements should be null & void for this.

perhaps i have my facts wrong? feel free to correct me, but, IMO its just not right to respect a convicted rapist.

True, and its clear he has something mentally wrong with him when he says he wants to be the first boxer to go out and really hurt his opponents. I think he wants to be known as the bad ass and even says in his interviews that he will be remembered as that. What ever he’s done he is in my eyes the best ever boxer talent wise.
We don’t know what happened but he was convicted, he served his time and converted to Islam. My views are that he came from absolute nothing to the top of the world with no one to guide him after Cus died who had been his farther figure up until then. He used to break down and cry when he was an amateur saying that no one would love him if he lost his fights, so I think there is a lot more to Mike Tyson then meets the eye imo

fair point m8, although IMO there is no excuse for rape.

i expect there is more than meets the eye to a lot of professional sportsmen, particularly those who originated from modest backgrounds & had unsettling childhoods. tyson is a good example of this, but (to a lesser extent) theres undoubtably a lot more than meets the eye to rooney & beckham.

the stress and pressure on young professional sportsmen, particularly when they are all of a sudden in the spot light must be immense, and far more confusing when violence is the sport. to spend all your time training for a fight, knowing if you loose you will be emotionally and physically scarred and all the time & effort, all the sacrifices you have made, have been for nothing. all that pressure on such a young mind, its gotta mess with your head.
