what protien powder to use ?

hi, i've had bad reactions to Maximuscle Promax and USN strawberry protein, (both whey powders).
my main complaint is of bloatedness/upset stomach and i cant continue everyday taking whey protien if this happens.

can anyone recommend a good protien (& a medium amount of carbs) powder ???
(im desparate for one at the moment)

Really just trial and error as what works for me might not work for you in terms of wind/bloat etc. One tip would be take the shake with more liquid as this may help. Worth a shot at least!

experiment with protein blends as well as whey, it might be that one aggravates you less than the other

for example you could try an Extreme protein blend and the same brand Extreme Whey to see if you notice a difference in how it sits in your stomach

that was my immediate thought but then he said taking whey with milk was better, so wouldnt that rule out a lactose intolerance?

If you can afford it, Syntrax Nectar might be worth checking out. Lovely stuff.

HODGEY: james has already warned you about this, I assume you missed it so I won't isuue you another. This is self promoting - you are highlighting something from which you stand to gain/profit, which is against board rules
