Diet and cardio are the answer mate.
Just run with a basic weights routine, you'll find plenty posted as stickies in both this and the beginners forum. I'd suggest a simple 3 day split for now IMO. You don't need a specific cutting weights routine, but you do need one to sustain and improve muscle condition as it is muscle that burns fat.
Get a good 3-4 sessions of cardio in a week, at least 30mins at a time IMHO. Get your diet checked in the nutrition forum.
