Heights absolutely hate heights .

Strange thing is I have no problem flying but looking over a building or going up high in anything forget it.

Prob dentist - had loads of pretty hardcore orthodontic work done as a kid and I think it messed my head a bit lol.

Not overly keen on heights but wouldn't say it was a full on phobia.

Most spiders besides garden spiders and daddy long legs.. Has anyone seen those massive house spiders people have been finding? Fuark

Wouldn't of thought of dentist but I am terrified, probably due to having a lot of work done as a kid, had a few braces, few teeth pulled out.. Went a month back and I've opted for gas instead of injections when I was told I'd be having one of my wisdom teeth out, never had the option before.. Several needles x pliers pulling your teeth out x cutting your gums open or be put to sleep? Surely it's a no brainer?

Sharks I am absolutely fascinated by them have been since I was a kid so know more than a normal person should about them and consequently how inferior we are to them when in the water.

Naturally this poses a problem as I love open water swimming, surfing and diving. A couple of times when i was swimming in the Lake in Switzerland I got a chill down my spine for no reason and had to swim to shore and get out. Totally irrational fear I know but still it makes me get out.

Second is heights not because I am afraid but because the moment I get up there I start spinning out with Vertigo and feel horrendous. Oddly enough can look out of a plane and no issues at all.

heights

i was on the cliffs of eastbourne/beachy head on the weekend with elle and i could walk close to the edge but f*** if i could peer over. Even laying down on the floor and edging towards the cliff edge to peer over would leave me bricking it. sweaty hands and rising heart rate

Tbf I don't think you need much shark knowledge to know they're better at swimming and chewing off limbs than we are.

True dat but did you know Bull Sharks have been found in the river systems in North America 1000s of miles from the ocean, same in Sud Afrika. Ie one could swim up the Thames haha. Again there not likely to but my irrational phobia makes me think they will have them in Blackpool lol

heights, i'm really bad, can't even look down a set of stairs (like in a shopping centre looking down the middle of the flights of stairs) and if my kids go near high places I freak out, get a wierd feeling in my legs and everything. proper pussy when heights are involved.

and spiders, only big ones mind, those house spiders! i was watching a film with the lights off the other night and out crawled one so big i could see it moving in the shadows. size 11 boots soon sorted it out
