why my bench will not grow? no pain no gain?

my squat and deadlift made a lot progress, but bench still same as half year ago.
i tried to change the routine, reps, not much difference.

maybe i just did not work hard for my bench press? every time  i finish a set squat or dead lift. i have to catch my breathe,  i know the whole body is working hard for it, but when i do bench, i never have to that, if i can not lift more, i just can not, no matter how i push.

but i was told bench is also a compound exercise, why i never have to catch my breathe after  my bench set?
many thanks

Not sure being out of breath has much to do with it.
Squats, deads and maybe weighted crunches are the only exercises that really get me out of breath.

Bench fails due to muscle fatigue long before then.
I guess with lower weight and higher reps you might start to get out of breath.

I have the same problem with bench - slow progress compared to other exercises.

I have tried playing around with weight and rep range too.

I'm just gonna keep at it.

Might help if get a spotter to help you lift the weight that you're not able to. even doing 3-4 reps with the spotters help could make you stronger next time.

Try doing flyes as a pre-exhaust before bench for 8 weeks. You will not be able to bench as much but will be working the pecs more, then, after 8 weeks revert back to bench press 1st and you should find you can b/p more, give it a go and do the full 8 weeks!!!
