working delts.......

when working delts i normally do lateral raises 3 sets of 8-10 last one to failure, after doing military press and reverse flye. Now is this too much cos i`m normally shágged after this and find it hard to complete when i`m not on an assisted cycle.
I`ve had good growth but its getting a chore to do my shoulders and wandered if any of you work shoulders less ? as they are a small muscle growth really and they get worked during back and chest excersizes as well.

What routines do you use ?

I now just do military press for delts.

I changed my routine round so I was doing back and delts.
When I tried doing bent over raises my delts were already exhausted from the back work, so I drop bent over raises.

Imo you should change the exercise order and do side laterals second instead of last. This might not make you less knackered but will improve your delt workout.

3 exercises is about right for shoulders although I add shrugs in my shoulder routine aswell.

Your main priority for shoulders should be to constantly be upping your overhead pressing weight

For me ATM, building shoulder mass = heavy pressing and wide grip upright rows.

    good delts hitters would be:
    handstand pressups
    power hang cleans/high pulls
    bent over DB row

Something I keep wondering is if upright rows supposed to cause injuries, does that mean hang pulls do too?
