Re:working out Legs?
you can get a good upper body with no leg work, there are plenty of people in the world who can display that. However if you want to get past the point of just being 'in good shape' and put on some serious size, there comes a point (I believe) where your secondary muscle groups will not outgrow your skeletal muscle mass; by that I mean you are not going to get 20-inch arms or a 150kg bench if your back, core and yes legs are not up to snuff. I am a firm believer in the theory that the human body will not grow if said growth would mean that the body as a whole would be significantly imbalanced; we all see the skinny kids in the gym doing a million bicep curls a week, but they are lucky if they get half an inch of growth.
Bit of a ramble; yes, do some squats, they're good fun anyway
