If it was high performance then yes, as I always try to save money and chances are I'd either run it into the ground and eventually scrap it, or maintain it and keep it in good nick depending on how expensive it was.

probably a 5-6 grand car for 2500, its from a garage. my thoughts are to buy it then sell it on straight away at a profit.

i did, after 2 years the wheels fell off literally, they'd used the wrong nuts on the axel

the steering wheel always shook and when i had to have some bodywork done the bloke i took it to said the engine wasnt in line with the car

    wouldnt do it again

136 for basic check and 184 for full check, seems worth it if there are no problems with the car but if there is and i decide not to go with the car then thats money down the drain depends how you look at it tho, dodged bullet and all that.

get the check, i went to buy a car once, looked great, my dad insisted that i get the full RAC check, money down the drain i thought, turned out the car had had 3 bad accidents and i couldnt even tell, RAC man said he wouldnt touch it with a barge pole.

Depends how bad the damage is.

I have seen some cars that were minor damage but Cat C when should've been Cat D.
But on the other hand I've seen D's that should've been B's they were that bad.

All depends on the individual damage to the car and also on the strictness of the person who graded it.

If its from a garage then why wouldnt they do the same and make more dough on it....

If you wanted a car to keep until its run into the ground then it maybe a good buy, to sell on it will be a nightmare. Do not expect to make money on it, it'll be more hassle than its worth. Ditch it mate.

You should have learned your lesson on that piece of sh1t 306 that you bought....

its true i know, ive still got the 306 on my drive!! got the engine in just need to fit the gear box and sell it on.

i probably would keep it till i get bored of it or it blowed up because thats what my cars do going by history.

Sounds like my experience with cars mate...
For that reason, the next car i buy is gonna be straight with no hidden secrets or reasons for it being cheap. Ive done that too many times and although i dont lose money on cars, the hassle just isnt worth it in the end.
