wwe - this is a bit sick isnt it

following on from the thread where mr mcmahon "died" in an explosion in his limo at the end of the live raw programme - smackdown is on now

lots of former superstars coming on the show to pay tribute to mr mcmahon - thats a bit sick even for wrestling isnt it

i wonder how the widows of eddie guerrero, owen hart, mr perfect, british bulldog etc are feeling about all this

the point is its the sort of thing they do when a wrestler really does die so doing this for the storyline makes a bit of a mockery out of it

Serious? I never saw the original post (I hate wrestling).

I thought you meant he had actually died and the wrestlers were simply paying tribute.

Then yes it is sick. What a farce.

yes - they have been building this storyline for a few weeks - something was wrong with mr mcmahon

raw is a live show, bit weird that the cameras followed mr mcmahon out to the car park, then just as he is getting into the limo it explodes (he was out of sight by this time)

then at the end the little wwe copyright thingy appears in the bottom left corner to signify the programme has finished

its going to be a whodunnit storyline

all i hope is that its nothing to do with the iragi tag team in the wwe development programme ohio valley wrestling - that'd be a bit stupid after the whole muhammad hassan debacle

I don't really seeing it as being much different from any of the other story lines they've run in the past tbh.
I don't watch it, but I could have sworn this isn't the first time they've done it mate.

As in the title WWE - World Wrestling ENTERTAINMENT. Thats all it is. I wouldn't take it too seriously or to heart.

yeah but they dont scrap a whole episode of eastenders so that they can dedicate it to an actor who has really died

some time last year eddie guerrero died and they had a show dedicated to him - people who were his friends came on and spoke about him and showed their real emotions

this looks like a bit of an ego trip - mcmahon massaging his ego and seeing what it might be like to have people eulogising about him

it is sick - because its making a mockery of the whole scenario where a wrestler dies

and powerpusher, its about as pointless as posting in a thread you have no intention of contributing to

I watched WWF this weekend for the first time in probably 5 years at least.

The impression I got from the whole thing was that they aren't trying to tell anyone that 'Vince' McMahon is actually dead, but rather the character 'Mr' McMahon is no longer. I think it is all intended to be kept in the context of wrestling and not real life
