youtube.com stopping and starting?

When i try to watch videos on youtube.com it seems to start and stop, have tried the troubleshooting guide and have downloaded the latest version of macromedia flash player. I have AOL with a 2MB connection so dont see why its not streaming properly.

Anyone have similar problems?

Never had a video stop and start since I upgraded to 1mb. Have you done a speed test to find out how your internet connection is performing?

Just put it on pause, let it load and play and do something else for a few mins, go back to it and it should be fully loaded.

Its most probably to do with the site traffic or/and your net connection speed and how many apps your running at the same time.

    I have AOL

    Yeah, I've found your problem...

I don't have the correct parts with me to fix it today... but give me a week and I can get back here and slap you in the face with a wet fish...

    That'll be £80.

Yep, happens to me too, and I'm on 10mb, I don't believe it's a connection problem.

It's in no way a connection issue, it's down to the fact there's so many people on there the servers can't handle it.

thought downloading the vid then watching it might work but was even slower on google video player.

can anyone get continuous playback or is the site just crap?

Actually that could be your problem, ive checked my email from AOL and they said that this week you may experience some difficulties as they test and monitor your line with the new upgrade.
